At a resurrected climate conference, concerns loom that CDC scientists may be silenced

The Climate and Health Meeting, led by organizers former Vice President Al Gore, Harvard Global Health Institute, and the American Public Health Association gathered more than 300 people at the Carter Center in Atlanta. The meeting filled the void left by the cancelled three-day climate and health meeting originally to be held at the CDC headquarters.

Speakers included Al Gore, HGHI's Dr. Ashish Jha, APHA's Dr. Georges Benjamin, former President Jimmy Carter, and many others scientists and climate and health leaders.
