Ryan Kim

She is excited to support the Institute’s interdisciplinary mission through programmatic, research and educational initiatives and to continue learning about global health and healthcare systems. Prior to joining HGHI, Ryan was the Operations Associate at a skincare start-up in New York. She has experience in culinary photography and hotel operations. In her free time, Ryan enjoys cooking and traveling.

Prior to joining HGHI in 2015, she worked with Education First and the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. She earned a Master’s in Education from Harvard and a BA in Psychology from Boston College.

The LEAD Fellowship, created in 2019, In an effort to equip and empower more leaders in global health, is specifically designed to promote leadership skills in women from low- and middle-income countries who will, in turn, mentor future female leaders in global health. The Burke Fellowship provides funding to junior Harvard faculty across the University for innovative research and curriculum development and teaching.

Previous to her role at HGHI, Olivia managed international fellowship programs and trainee education at Boston Children’s Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery. Olivia graduated from Regis College with an undergraduate degree in Public Health and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Through her experiences working with Partners In Health, EqualHealth and Boston Children’s Hospital she developed a strong skill set in managing global health fellowship programs and a passion for student engagement.
