Scholarly Working Groups

The Harvard Global Health Institute’s Scholarly Working Groups are designed to encourage a collaborative environment, promote inter-faculty gatherings, and explore and accelerate research areas in topics critical to the advancement of “Health for All”.


Student Engagement

Global health presents multifaceted problems that need multidisciplinary solutions. HGHI provides Harvard undergraduates with opportunities to think critically and to engage actively with public and global health challenges. HGHI collaborates with departments across the university, student organizations, and partners around the world to facilitate unique opportunities for learning.

Scientific Writer

The primary role of the Scientific Writer is to translate complex scientific ideas into accessible, engaging narratives for the general public, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

Graduate Research Assistant (for current Harvard graduate students only)

Our Scholarly Working Group on Environmental Pressures on Malaria is seeking a Graduate/Doctoral Research Assistant to support their work on raising awareness of the complex environmental pressures that hinder current malaria control strategies.
