The Harvard Global Health Institute equips Harvard undergraduates to tackle diverse global health challenges through critical thinking and active engagement. Collaborating with university departments and global partners, HGHI provides unique learning opportunities, fostering a global community through coursework, research, internships, and workshops, preparing the next generation of global health practitioners and leaders.

For Harvard Undergraduates & Graduate Students

Global health presents multifaceted problems that need multidisciplinary solutions. HGHI provides Harvard students with opportunities to think critically and to engage actively with public and global health challenges. HGHI collaborates with departments across the university, student organizations, and partners around the world to facilitate unique opportunities for learning. Students learn to work in a global community through coursework, internships, our Student Advisory Committee, our Student Research Showcase. and other experiential learning opportunities. It will take leaders from all disciplines and sectors to solve global health problems; HGHI is helping prepare the next generation of practitioners and leaders in global health.
