The organization advances health, social protection, and community empowerment for populations such as LGBTAIQ+ communities and at-risk children and youth.

Position Overview

A Harvard College intern could spend 10 weeks with SCDI supporting programs that advance health, social protection, and community empowerment for vulnerable populations in Vietnam. The intern will gain hands-on experience contributing to community-focused initiatives and supporting organizational operations and communications.

Project Details

Specific projects can be tailored to the interests of the intern, including:

  • Supporting program documentation and communications

  • Preparing English-language materials for reports or outreach

  • Synthesizing data and stories of change

  • Contributing to outreach, resource development, and program support in areas such as harm reduction, mental health, and community support

Intern Responsibilities

  • Assist with program documentation and communications

  • Prepare English-language materials for reports or external use

  • Support data collection and synthesis, including stories of impact

  • Contribute to outreach or resource development for specific initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; data analysis skills a plus

  • Strong communication skills

  • Interest in community development and cross-cultural work

  • Enthusiasm for supporting social development programs and vulnerable populations
