Internship Project Description:
The intern will support the Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Department within the Measurement and Strategic Information (MSI) team. The MSI team focuses on monitoring Alliance performance and providing strategic analyses for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a repository of data and evidence demonstrating the value of vaccination (direct and indirect benefits).
  • Conducting rapid learning or evidence synthesis to address emerging questions and identify evidence gaps.
  • Supporting the development of a framework to capture immunization data during outbreak responses.
  • Gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data for strategic analyses.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understanding and interpreting quantitative data.
  2. Evidence generation and knowledge translation.
  3. Understanding global health policies, theories, and concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or interest in public health, international development, or related fields.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Research methods experience (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Good presentational and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (French or other languages is an asset).
