Internship Project Description:
The intern will support the Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Department within the Measurement and Strategic Information (MSI) team. The MSI team focuses on monitoring Alliance performance and providing strategic analyses for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a repository of data and evidence demonstrating the value of vaccination (direct and indirect benefits).
- Conducting rapid learning or evidence synthesis to address emerging questions and identify evidence gaps.
- Supporting the development of a framework to capture immunization data during outbreak responses.
- Gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data for strategic analyses.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understanding and interpreting quantitative data.
- Evidence generation and knowledge translation.
- Understanding global health policies, theories, and concepts.
Qualifications:
- Experience and/or interest in public health, international development, or related fields.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Research methods experience (quantitative and qualitative).
- Good presentational and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English (French or other languages is an asset).
