DRCLAS Summer Internship Program (SIP) in Mexico

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Description: 

Students conduct laboratory research as an assistant focused on biological systems. In Summer 2024, the student intern focused on the effects that fluoride exposure has on cardiovascular health, which was assessed through cell growth of HUVEC samples that had been exposed to varying concentrations of fluoride. This option is 100% in the labs. 

This internship is co-sponsored with the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (DRCLAS). The primary affiliation is with DRCLAS, so DRCLAS will be the point of contact during the application and internship onboarding process. The intern selected for this internship will be part of the DRCLAS Student Internship Program and will have the obligations and benefits of an intern in both programs.
