Internship Details
Potential Project:
Development and Delivery of the NHS 10-Year Health Plan
- The project involves creating a modern health service to meet the needs of the changing population.
- Focus areas include:
- Moving care from hospitals to communities.
- Leveraging technology to improve care delivery.
- Emphasizing prevention over treatment.
- Intern responsibilities:
- Collaborate with policy experts and the Department of Health and Social Care.
- Contribute to policy testing, refinement, and development.
- Draft policy reports to inform the final version of the NHS 10-Year Plan.
Engagement Period: June-August.
Format: Hybrid (a mix of virtual and in-person work).
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support policy development.
• Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders across NHS England and beyond.
• Assist in writing policy reports and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Engage in problem-solving and creative thinking to address health system challenges.

Work Environment:
• Format: Hybrid (a combination of virtual and in-person work).
• Location: Minimum of 2 days per week in-office at Wellington House, Central London.
