Health, Law & Climate Justice for Youth: A fireside chat with Julia Olson of Our Children’s Trust

For the first time in history, U.S. courts are hearing a case against the federal government brought by 21 youths, aged 8 to 19 years, for its inaction on climate change as a violation of their constitutional rights to life, liberty and property.

Learn how the health community has come together to support this unprecedented case in a discussion with Julia Olson, the lead attorney on Juliana vs the United States and Executive Director of Our Children’s Trust.

Julia has over two decades of experience in representing grassroots conservation groups. In 2010, she founded Our Children’s Trust to focus her work on representing young people and elevating their voices on the threat of climate change. Do not miss out on what promises to be a relevant, insightful discussion.

This event will also feature Aaron Bernstein and Renee Salas of the Harvard Global Health Institute and Harvard C-CHANGE as well as Aladdine Joroff of Harvard Law School and the Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic.
