The Role of AI in the Post-Pandemic Era

In many countries around the world, COVID-related restrictions put in place to curb the spread of the virus are now being lifted. For policymakers, innovators, and researchers who quickly leveraged digital tools and AI as part of the acute response, this could mean re-thinking and pivoting priorities. As the world transitions to the next phase of response and beyond, the question remains: what is the role of digital tools and AI in a post-pandemic world?

In this webinar,  we will bring together panelists with a diverse range of expertise in AI and data science to collectively think on how we can continue to move through, and forward, in the COVID-19 crisis. Experts will reflect on how they foresee their own field of work changing, discuss the obstacles that lie ahead and comment on the partnerships and investments needed to effectively and meaningfully leverage AI for good beyond the pandemic.

Part of a new webinar series hosted by DASH, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Summits for Health. In partnership with Novartis Foundation, Harvard Global Health Institute and MIT Critical Data. Support provided by Harvard University Center for African Studies.
