Dr. Daksha Shah, Joint Executive Health Officer for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) & City TB Officer, is a public health expert in strategic planning and project management; currently leading the TB control program in Mumbai, India. Dr. Shah has spearheaded private sector engagement and innovative project development for TB as a first model in the country; Developed unique CSR models for TB support; facilitated the use of Digital technology for monitoring. As a woman leader in public health, she has been instrumental in planning and implementing NCD programs in Mumbai and campaigned for promoting healthy lifestyles for its citizens.
