Harvard Global Health Institute Announces New Cohort of Scholarly Working Groups
Four new Scholarly Working Groups join an expanding community of scholars, researchers, and practitioners at Harvard University and beyond.
The Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) is thrilled to announce its newest cohort of Scholarly Working Groups, an initiative launched in Spring 2024 to foster transdisciplinary collaboration among Harvard faculty and catalyze research on critical issues advancing “Health for All.” Through this initiative, HGHI aims to inspire innovative ideas and establish a robust network of scholars across Harvard’s schools, working together on pressing global health challenges.
Selected through a competitive process based on innovation potential, clarity, feasibility, and alignment with HGHI’s interfaculty goals, these new Scholarly Working Groups bring together Harvard faculty members and researchers from at least two different Harvard schools. HGHI supports each group with up to $20,000 in funding as well as project management and support over a 12-month award period.
