Call for Abstracts: 2026 Harvard Global Health Student Research Showcase

The Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) is now accepting abstract submissions for the 2026 Harvard Global Health Student Research Showcase, a university-wide poster session featuring global health research by Harvard undergraduate and graduate students. The showcase is hosted by HGHI in partnership with the Department of Global Health and Population at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
The Student Research Showcase celebrates student scholarship and fosters interdisciplinary exchange, bringing together research, practice, and policy perspectives from across the Harvard community. Selected students will have the opportunity to present their work, engage in discussion with peers and faculty, and contribute to cross-disciplinary dialogue on pressing global health challenges.
The 2026 Showcase will take place on April 17, 2026, from 9:30–11:30 AM, at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Kresge Building).
Eligibility
Current Harvard undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines are eligible to apply. Previously presented work is welcome, provided it has not been presented at a prior HGHI Research Showcase. Each student may submit one abstract.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit a 250–300 word abstract outlining the project’s background, objectives, methods, results (or expected outcomes), and significance for global health.
The abstract submission deadline is February 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
Students with completed or ongoing research aligned with HGHI’s priority focus areas are especially encouraged to apply.
